"Man alive! Some friends of mine, my husband and I just had a cooking class with Deepak at the restaurant, and it was such a positive experience! Being very new to Indian cooking, I wasn't sure what to expect. Instead of just telling us a recipe and having us all do individual cooking, we all took part in creating the meal. Deepak was very patient and constantly reminded us that it's all about the base of the sauce (He even gave us a way to avoid getting sick using cumin seeds!) :) Not only that, but the concept of measuring everything was tossed out the window. It was all about playing with the measurements, and figuring out what works/doesn't work for you. Great sense of humour, very comfortable setting, and many things learned. If you get the chance to take a class with this company, do it! You won't find a nicer chef to help you learn how to cook Indian food. The fresh bread alone was worth it. I'll never look at cumin seeds the same way again, who knew they were so useful. Thanks Deepak for a great experience! I will definitely be taking another class!" -Anna H.
